Great I just got tricked. I couldn’t get enough so decided to read the forums. Lol. I finished your wonderful comics , four years worth within two days. Thank you. Haven’t read anything so good since The Far Side and Pearls Before Swine. Keep up the great job!
Love your comic! It is also scary by times…sure sign it’s marked by genius. My wife introduced me to it. Would you please email my wife and say she has remarkable taste in comic strips? This would thrill her and as a great wife and mom, she deserves this. If you email me, I will give you her email and go from there. Keep on making us laugh…and shudder in the right places.

This is great – I’m really enjoying the comic – I found it about 2 weeks ago and read through the whole thing. I’ve been wondering if they’re all quite dead and this is some sort of purgatory (or hell), but I’m mostly just enjoying the mad ride 😀
I’ve been reading Banana Triangle on gocomics, literally for years. First of all, I love its uniqueness, both in artwork and characters. I can’t say “plot” because as far as I can tell that’s not the point. And it doesn’t need to be.
I think of myself (who doesn’t?) as an intelligent person but I have to confess that I have virtually no idea whatever is going on in the long term. I have chalked this up years ago as a direct transmission from Mr Beutel’s subconscious to the page. I just appreciate each strip as a Ding an Sich, and if some day I have a revelation to its Deeper Meaning I’ll probably keep it to myself!
For some reason I missed the response from Beuteljames to me after I posted my last comment. And I will treasure it for aye.
I am pained to confess that I did not ignore it and move on. In fact, I still read it faithfully, lo these 2 months later. And I still and no more enlightened than I was.
So to Beuteljames I implore: please never change.
Best regards,
Gyorgi.
(P.S. Maybe I should have checked the “notify” box last time)
I’m at the age when memory becomes more like a tattered length of lace. I could use one of those pages where all the different characters are identified, even though they sometimes morph into each other via costume changes.
Sorry, this month saw the publication of my magnum opus, so I need every fan and have none to spare. Certainly none of the OCD types, who send me emails with typos they’ve spotted.
Well, every five years or so I feel the urge to pop in.
My Beuteljames certainly never disappoints. I haven’t figured out if there is a relationship between the strips that show up here and those that show up on gocomics. Suffice it to say that it appears that one illuminates the other, sort of how one hand washes the other, as they say. In any case, keep up the good work, Maestro, I will follow your work as long as I am physically able, and then for probably a month or two after that.
Well it was worth a shot
Love this story!! One needs to go back to the beginning to really appreciate this comic.
Thanks, very funny.
I think.
Thanks. Very kind.

Yes. Best to ignore it and move on, G.Y., best to ignore it and move on!

I keep looking for a delete button. ☮

Any chance of that?
There’d be a better chance if I weren’t also at that age.
Maybe some OCD fan could step in?
Perhaps you have one you can spare, Mr. Hughes?
